Community work

We partner with The GO Foundation, a community interest company providing sports sessions for young people. Since 2016, GAME-ON has engaged Coventry teenagers in sports, especially football, to keep them off the streets. Our initiatives include a free Thursday night football program for ages 11-18 as part of our anti-knife crime campaign.

Tackling Knife Crime

GAME-ON works win partnership with the Go Foundation to provide free football sessions for 11-18 year olds on a Thursday night. These sessions are set up to help young adults and teenagers stay safe and engage with the community around them, though the means of playing football.

These sessions offer young adults of Coventry somewhere where they can build relationships with people of a similar age and gives them a place where they can express themselves through playing football.

We like to thank the Alan Higgs Centre for helping facilitate these sessions and their ongoing support with this.

Saturday Football

On Saturdays from 9 AM to 12 PM, GAME-ON offers football sessions for children aged 18 months to 12 years, catering to all skill levels—from first kicks to advanced training.

GAME-ON FC and Girls Football

In 2025, Game-On launched their new football brand- GAME-ON FC.

GAME-ON FC was set up to provide sessions to young children across Coventry and surrounding areas, to help develop their football skills and to meet, and make, new friends along the way.

Our hope is that with the constant support of our players and parents, GAME-ON FC will be able to enter competitive leagues and compete in regular matches with other Football clubs in the local area.

2025 also saw Game-On launch their Girls Football scheme, which runs alongside GAME-ON FC. This girls football program follows the same patterns as GAME-ON FC, with the hope to enter teams in competitive leagues and compete in regular matches with other clubs from the local area.
